Indeed, one of the best ways to spend a day in the fall is to go antiquing or visit a flea market. For some of the best antique shops, head to Connecticut. In fact, Connecticut has an Antique Trail. Equally important is you can walk the trail where you will find auctions, small antique shops and flea markets.
With Halloween around the corner, there is no better place to visit than Salem, Massachusetts. From California, to the mountains in Colorado; there are beautiful fall colors to see this time of year.
However, if you’re looking for an adventure, why not hike up a mountain to see the most beautiful fall scenic foliage. So, get out your hiking boots, lace up and get ready to hit the trails. Since the temperature is cooler now, it is an ideal time of the year to hike. If you’re planning to take a hike, make sure you wear sunscreen and have an emergency kit on hand.

From your car, you can stop at many vantage places along the coast.
Recently, I enjoyed a day on a Whale Watch excursion with my Hubby. Not only did we see a lot of whales, but we also saw beautiful scenery from the boat.
