When I was a little girl, I was always excited about the great pumpkin. Every year, I looked forward to Charlie Brown – It’s the Great Pumpkin. Now, that I’m older; not much has changed. Indeed, there is something about Fall and the month of October that has me looking for the best pumpkins to carve.
Great Pumpkin Story
Since I live near Salem, Massachusetts, Fall and pumpkins can be found everywhere. Be sure to check out my Salem Massachusetts Haunted Happenings post where you will find a lot of events happening throughout the month of October.
Also, many fairs have competitions for the largest pumpkin.
Consequently, if you’re a fan of cooking; you will find many recipes readily available. Because I’m a foodie, one of my favorite dishes to make in the fall is pumpkin ravioli’s.
So, if you don’t feel like making the pasta from scratch; you can find ravioli’s already made. If you’re more adventurous in the kitchen; you can make your own. All you need is wonton wrappers and canned pumpkin puree. Simple, right?
Next, to make a sauce; all you need to start your sauce – is butter. As the butter is cooking on low heat; wait until it turns golden brown. When the butter turns golden, add fresh sage, ground black pepper, red pepper flakes, a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar and voila – you will have the perfect meal. Also, if you like nuts; add some carmelized pecans or walnuts.
Are you looking for a fix? Not only can you find almost any type of food, drink or item with this spice added; but now you can find everything from beauty products, facials and other products.
So, are you ready to add this to your home and beauty routine?
