Lose weight and feel great! Since this is always observed on the second Sunday of the New Year; I have just what you need to start 2019 off the right way.

Lose Weight – Feel Great Week

For seven days starting today, I will have you starting your year off with some easy ways to diet and exercise. When it comes to the Winter months, it is easier for us to stay inside more often. However, let’s take advantage of the days we are inside by trying some easy and healthy recipes.

First and foremost, Women should try to consume no more than 1400 calories a day. And, Men should aim for 1600 calories a day. So, the best foods to help us lose weight are rich in Omega-3.

Indeed, it is important to choose a breakfast, lunch and dinner plan that has a combination of healthy fats, is high in protein and is linked to serotonin. In case, you’re not familiar with serotonin, this is food that is good for the brain. Some food that contain serotonin are:

  • Eggs
  • Cheese
  • Nuts
  • Salmon
  • Turkey
  • Pineapple

Celebrate Lose Weight – Feel Great Week

Now that the holidays are over, less days of drinking and heavy eating usually are in the month of January. Whether you’re looking to lose a few pounds or have a lot of weight to take off; starting slow is the key for a successful diet.

Since breakfast is the most important meal of the day, start your day by eating breakfast that consists of:

  • Eggs
  • Chia seeds
  • Cottage cheese
  • Greek Yogurt

For lunch or dinner, some food to incorporate into your daily diet are:

Lose Weight Diet

In my opinion, one of the easiest ways to lose weight is to drink more water. Not only does water help increase your energy; but also increases your metabolic rate. In addition, water keeps you hydrated. Did you know that drinking 1 – 2 liters a day will help you lose weight?

Feel Great Week

By incorporating healthy eating habits into you’re life, you will feel better. Although it gets darker earlier, pull up your shades. Let some light in. Try to get outside.

Even if you take a walk or take up a Winter activity, your exposure to light can help you with weight. Even if it isn’t sunny, make sure you use an SPF 30 to keep your skin protected.
