Peanut Butter Lovers Month
Indeed, this month is a fun time to celebrate your love of this delicious, yet nutritious treat. Although peanut butter is high in fat, it is a source of good healthy fat. Did you know there is protein, fiber, minerals and vitamins in this nutty butter?
Let’s Go Nutty
Are you ready to go nutty? Of course, we all can act a little nutty from time to time. But, did you know peanuts act like nuts too? Mmm – well, yeah – they originate from South America. Not only do they taste like a nut, but split a peanut in half and you never know what you will end up with. Will you get half a nut, a whole nut or a nut crumbled?
Ways to Eat Peanut Butter
For some of my favorite ways to eat peanut butter…
- Add this to make a sauce for chicken or a stir-fry
- Add to the blender to make a banana or chocolate smoothie
- Dig into a jar and combine it with your favorite candy, fruit, sandwich or vegetable.
- Make a gooey sandwich and add an extra scoop of peanut butter, jelly and marshmallow – Am I making you hungry?
