Are you looking for ways to beat the Summer heat? Well, today’s post will provide some ideas on how you can stay cool. Although the Dog Days of Summer ended a few days ago; there are plenty of hot and humid days ahead.
Ways to Beat the Summer Heat
So, are you looking for ways to beat the Summer heat? In the first place, it is important to prepare ourselves for days of extreme heat. No matter what you’re doing, there are ways to stay cool. First and foremost, make sure you’re wearing comfortable loose fit clothing. When you’re wearing looser clothing, you’re allowing air to flow near your skin.
In the same fashion, make sure you wear breathable fabrics such as cotton and linen. In my opinion, you cannot go wrong wearing a T-shirt in the Summertime. For some style recommendations, be sure to visit my Summer T-Shirt Favorites post. Since many of us wear less clothing in the Summer months, it is important to wear Sun protection. Be sure to visit my Best SPF 30 Skin Sunscreens post for my recommendations for the best sun protection lotion.
At the same time, it is important to drink a lot of water. Because it is important not to get dehydrated in the heat; keep cold water nearby. In my opinion, water is the best beverage to keep you cool. However, if you’re exercising in the heat, you may need a sports drink to replenish your fluids, i.e, Gatorade.
Comfortable Summer Heat Recommendations
Consequently, many individuals have health issues from the heat. To feel cool right away, step into a place that has air conditioning. Another tip I have – is to keep a cold compress nearby. Whether you need something to cool down or have an injury or pain, the Gel Ice Cold Compress is ideal. Not only will these ice packs cool you down, but they will also provide relief for any pain.
So, I cannot live without my Bed Jet. When I first heard about this product, I knew it was a “MUST” for me. Of course, the cooler you are, the better you will sleep. If you wake up with “Hot Flashes” or are always hot, I recommend the bed jet for a good night of sleep. And of course, you won’t wake up sweating. So, get ready to sleep like a baby.
As always, I welcome your comments on what you do to beat the Summer Heat.
